So, let’s rotate it and now this line is your double crochet again. So, let’s chain up three; one, two and three. So wrapping once, and just double crochet all the way across. Hopefully you’re getting the whole, just it is. Now, I said to you keep it in sets of four and then add three again. We’ll change on that is where this we’ll end up. Just see that you’re kind of having a diamond start here, but then on here, you’re kind of got a different side.

So, if I were to cut it even shorter, you would just only had two diamonds. So, it does make a difference of how the diamonds will look. But the pattern will still be consistent which all that matters. And when you do like a big scarf or a blanket, you know people really are not going to be looking to see if the diamonds have gone matching on both sides, or whether they’re finishing or starting on the same spot.
