So turning your material back, we’re going to be looking now and what’s going to be different now is that we need to create the diamonds going back down in the other direction. So in order to do that, we need to just chain up one and we’re going to single crochet into the first one. And then in the next one, we are going to be doing the diamond going down. And if you’re not sure if it is the next one, we looked up. See, this is the point. You’re going to skip one and then in it being fair just like it is down at the bottom. So you know by doing your counting backwards and counting forwards at where the center point is but this is just a matter of getting your pattern started and understanding it.
So what we’re going to do? The next one is the center point of the top of the diamond that will come down to meet the center point here. So it’s wrap and wrap. And these things are three-dimensional so your needle can just like slide right in behind just like so. So we’re going to slide them behind both of them. Grabbing your material and pointing it through, and by doing that, it makes seize into a definite point and then pull it through two, two and two.
So on the line, we are going to skip the one and going to the one directly after it for a double crochet. And just like at any other time, there has to be double crochets in between each of the times that you go down to make the diamond. Okay, so that was three. So the next one is the top of the other diamond and we have to then create sides of the diamond coming up and that’s just like doing before because we’re working on the edge, we only have to do one side of it.
So wrap and wrap, and where is it? Well, it’s obvious. It’s right where these are meeting. That is the center of the diamond. So just slide it in behind. Do you see that? Fair enough, very clear. Wrap and wrap, and just slide it right in behind and right in behind pointing it through two and two and you want to hold. Why are you holding it? It’s because you’re making the top center point, and you needed to end up in one stitch.
So wrap and wrap, sliding in behind just like so. And then, two, two, and now you're making this all into one stitch so you have to then pull through all three. So then, on the back line, you are skipping one stitch going into the second one over and doing three single crochets in a row. So that was one single crochet, two single crochet and three single crochet.
And now, we’re doing the top of the diamond again. So wrap and wrap, looking for the center point. It’s so obvious. It’s so sticking in front here, going onto the one side and going onto the other, pointing it through two, two, and then hold. Now, we want to create the diamond for the other side, so wrap and wrap just going under. It’s the edge piece so just go under the edge, just the one side is all you need, one, so pull it through two, two, and now you want to make that point so you got to pull through all three.
So then on the back line, we are skipping one stitch going to the second for a single crochet and then, single crochet and single crochet so there you go. That is what it looks like so far. Let’s do another line.
