Mikey: Hey everybody, it’s me again and Daniel. We’re working at his—he just fold up his shirt and I don’t know what's going on with that. Dan and me on here we’re working with a new stitching pattern and he basically decided that he needed a piano seat bench. What's this called? A piano bench seat cover.
Daniel: Cover.
Mikey: Yup. So he chooses basically the pattern that he wanted and this is what it ends up being.
So what we did is I'm measure out with the tape measure and I added six inches to every side to get my total length. And this pattern here—I should get up close. This pattern up here, I don’t even know what they even call this pattern. What do you think this pattern? We got to come up with the name.
Daniel: Oh I thought that it was wattle, the wattle stitch.
Mikey: I don’t know what it’s really called.
Daniel: Oh I see.
Mikey: You know this look like arrows to me. I don’t know what—what do you think Daniel?
Daniel: Yup.
Mikey: Come up with something greater. That almost looks like arrows to me, but this pattern is liked so simple. I should probably focus on. So this pattern is like really so simple it’s not even funny how simple this thing it really is. It’s in the set of three so don’t email me saying how long should I make it, it’s in the set of three, so just go one, two, three, one, two, three, one, two, three and at the end just add three more stitches, so two for the base and one for the chain.
So we just adding three and basically the stitch is so simple. What else can I say about the stitch? It goes fast, it looks nice. We describe—look it’s just needs to say princess.
Daniel: Yeah!
Mikey: Yeah!
Daniel: Kaween!
Mikey: Oh yeah, somebody out here on my YouTube put on my one comment, kaween, with kaween. I thought it kind of funny. So anyway so we’re going to demonstrate how to do this and it’s in set of three like I said and Daniel and I describe this where we don’t really like doilies, so I'm sorry that anybody who going to get offended that we don’t really like doilies.
So this is kind of like a modern aged doily for a seat cover and what I had here, this was the seat cover for the chair and this is the side saddle stitch. It looks really fantastic but I didn’t design it for his chair, if you remember, I design it for the actual sewing machine that cover at the other house that I was in.
So this one here, we really like it because it is a piano seat cover we kind of like how it's going down in the stripes because it’s kind of matching the consistency of the piano keys. That’s kind of another fact we never even thought it about. So we have to come up with the name and we’ll give a demonstration on that and it’s so simple it’s even funny how simple this is.
