How to Crochet a Sidesaddle Shell Stitch Part 5/6
Okay so we have now completed our first line that you see and now this pattern that we just did across is that going to be the same on every single line. So once you mastered this pattern, this line you are going to master every other line dealing differences that the end pieces and when you are going to end up. So you bend it up now with the single stitch of the bottom of this side. Okay, we’ve just completed the full semi circle as you can see here. So what we need to do is we need to build that up because we banded up down here. We need to build it up through doing this again like you see there. So what we need to do here is chain up three so one, two, and three. And now, we are going to make three double crochet trebles again into the same where you started up from the three. And that all make so that’s one, two and three and this is where it kindly gets a little complicated. So what we need to do is that we need to just like how we did before where we are looking for the single stitch. Your actual single stitch that you are going to be looking for is the one right on the top that you see there. Do you see that?
So on here that you see is way to find that if you stretch it a little bit see this little hold that appears right here that’s exactly what you are looking for. So what you are just going to do is stick your needle into that little hole and pull through and pull through two. Pretty going.
So now what we want to do is that we want to do our - we want to can do a full semi circle so e got a double crochet and what you are going to do is you got to look for the other single crochet spot. Ad how to find that really quickly? That’s right here and the reason why I can't tell is that there’s a gap here so it’s going to be there out one right there. So let’s double crochet into that spot for three or through two. Okay so that’s it.
So what we are going to do is just like before. We are going to do a chain at the top and we are going to use this side trebles for your side points that are going in. so double crochet three of those into that treble. So now, we get to fasten it down just like we did before with the single so you remember what we did. You put a part of a little bit and see that little hole that appears right over the big hole that’s it. Just stick your needle in, it’s only a single crochet so stick your needle I and pull your material through and pull through two. You see that? See how it’s going and put the together? So do it again, so we are double crocheting.
Remember to pull your material part if you can't see it and it will be the smallest hole. And pull through two, pull through two and we are going to put three into that same hole altogether.
Okay we are at the top of the semi circle so we are going to put a single chain in and then to your side trebles for three. I've never done anything with this one before. I have always been very like back and forth on the lines so it ever actually uses side trebles like this. It makes it for you interesting.
So now, we get three in there so now we are going to pull our material part to see where that single stitch is and see this big hole, it’s the one right above is the small little hole that appears for that single stitch back in.
Okay so I guess I'll end this video here and we’ll continue along.
