How to Crochet a Royal Sunrise Pattern Part 6/8
So we’re going to rotate your material. Now this is the fun part. We want to chain up now eight because we need to create the box shape again in order to work because we’re repeating the pattern again so we need to create the box right in between the two.
So we need to chain eight, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven and eight. You’re looking for the third picot so this is one picot, two picot, three picot, so just stick into the picot itself just anywhere is fine like the picot is made up of the circle if you remember. So you just stick it into there. So you just wrap your material around because it’s a double crochet into the third picot. Pulling it through, pull through at two and two so the eight serves as creating the box L shape like this just in case you’re wondering why it was eight. Now we’re going to go five all the way across. So one, two, three, four and five and we’re going to skip one picot and go into the next one. So wrap in your material around going into that picot right in the center pulling it through two and two.
Now it’s a sunrise so do you see how it’s going down? We need to compensate for that so let’s go another five so one, two, three, four and five. What we want to do is we want to triple crochet right into the actual middle of these two sunrises and do you see where that is? If you pull it apart see how this is like the center point, center point, center point and this are the center point right there so that’s where you want to go. So wrap and wrap, we’re doing a triple crochet in between the two picots that make up the two separate circles right, so hopefully I made sense so two and two and two.
So now we’re going to chain five again so one, two, three, four and five. We’re go into go into the third picot so just like we did over here we went into the third when we started. We want to go into the third over here as well. So wrap in your material, go into the third or double crochet into the third picot.
And now we’re going to go five, one, two, three, four and five, skipping one picot going to the second for in double crochet, see that? So now what we’re going to do is just chain five, one, two, three, four and five and just like we’re now in between the two sunrises. We have the triple crochet one and two and go into this stitch that is in between the two. You can kind of see how it’s forming like this upside down V and that’s exactly where you're aiming for is the stitch that it’s over top of that V for a triple crochet. So let’s chain another five so one, two, three, four and five going into the third picot for a double crochet so one picot, two picot, three picot.
And it’s chain five now so one, two and three four and five so we’re going to skip one picot and go into the second. So one, two, three, four and five and so now what we’re going to do is we’re going to triple crochet because we’re going to the end of this piece. So this would be the last line. You’re going to go right into the very last stitch for a triple crochet and this makes your edge so that’s what you got, so far.
