This example here is the puff stitch square. It doesn’t really look square, does it? But I think it will settle out once it gets to a certain size and because you only work with one side the other side looks very different. So, I find this is really, really soft so for cheap wool, this is a great idea like if you don’t want to buy the expensive baby’s wool, I think if you do this stitch in a baby’s blanket or any other kind of blanket, I think that you do really well. So, let’s start this one here and we’re going to wrap your material twice around your finger, grabbing your material putting it over, grabbing your other material putting it over and then push your finger up and that is your first stitch, putting it tight to your needle, not too tight but anyway. So, what we’re going to do now is we’re going to chain eight in a row so this is considered one chain already, so two, three, four, five, six, seven, and eight. Grabbing your material now, you’re going to put your needle in the last stitch okay and just grabbing the material through point it to that stitch and through your beginning stitch so now, you have your first circle. So, what we’d do is stop there.
