How to Crochet a Pineapple Part 12/12
Okay so this line here is a repeat of the big line that is down at the bottom but I think it’s worth repeating. So one, two, and three and I’m going into the same stitch down there for three double crochets like we have had in with every single line. This line is then identical to the big 11 triple crochets so we are not going to put any chains now. We are going to triple crochet directly into the big section right into the center. Now you can really start seeing the shape of this blanket and you can really start noticing a pattern so it really gets a lot easier to identify which you are looking for. So we are going to do eleven triple crochets.
How did they do that, wrap, wrap and wrap and wrap and wrap and wrap and wrap. Remember there’s supposed to be eleven of them but I'm not starting the count yet because you know what? I loose count because I'm talking to you and I’ll also loose kind of my own. Some are looking at it so one, two, three, four, five, six, seven eight, nine so this is number ten and eleven. So we do eleven, right to the center and we are not leaving any chaining or anything so we are just going to double crochet directly into the center point for two. And now we need to create the split so we are going to do that chain in the middle and then going to the same hole for another two.
Okay so now what we are going to do is we are not chaining. We are going to triple crochet and we can really start seeing the pattern, so we are going to triple crochet right to the center spot. Because the centers maintain each other like the center down here and with the center up there as well just the way the pattern is so wrap and wrap. And again just go in into that hole, wrap and wrap two, two, and two; wrap and wrap. I want eleven in these things; it’s a wrap and wrap, wrap and wrap, wrap and wrap. See this is not really complex in my pinion. You just have to maintain the memory of your patterning where you are at all times and I'm not sure a beginner would be able to get that but you know what they are organized and they keep themselves understanding it and maybe it’s possible; so wrap and wrap. And maybe I should start counting now. I would look in very fool.
So one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and ten so just one off. This is eleven. And we are not chaining anything. We are just going to double crochet right into the very edge that we had in all the rest of the lines for three, how that is grab you?
So basically, the pattern is now repeating itself and then you see that. Remember how we are going in a crown formation? I should actually pick up the cameras for you. It was looking like a crown there a couple of lines ago when I put it flat. You can really start seeing the crochet and it really does sit nicely. So there is my example which is my practice one. So basically, you are working with the pineapple so that the basis actually on the bottom so not that hard. I hope you guys enjoy it and that’s the open pineapple stitch.
