How to Crochet a Pineapple Part 11/12
So the next one here, we are going to chain up our three like we did before; so one, two, and three, going into the same spot for two more double crochets. So what we are going to do now in order to make this pineapple look real, we have to be grabbing up on the empty gaps in between to create it because you can see a better rate. If you stay down, you can't see it as well. So what we are going to do is that we are going to create three chains; so one, two, and three. And what we did in the beginning like we did down here, we are just going to grab anywhere within the first big gap.
Then what we are going to do now is chain five; so one, two, three, four and five. Now, think about this, if I grab it in the center here, you will not maintain the shape of the pineapple so I'm looking for the next biggest piece. And again, I'm just fastening it underneath and if it’s wrong, it will straighten itself out. And just like we did three on this side here, we are going to do three to the center point; so one, two, and three and then double crochet into the center spot there for two. Of course chain to create your split and then two more double crochets; so that’s one and two. Just like we did over here so we are going to do three; so one, two, and three. And looking at that big gap anywhere in there, it will all straighten itself that I promise you. And then we are going to chain five; so one, two, three, four and five. Then what we do is we can't grab it in the pineapple area we have to grab it on this to the next side that’s the big is because then it maintains the shape.
And then for another three; so one, two and three and you are going to double crochet into the edge for three sections. So one, and another double crochet for two, and then another double crochet for three, and so that line is finish then you can really start seeing that pineapple being brought in.
Now, what we are going to be doing is that if you think about where you are in this stitch, you are actually on this line. You are actually on this line down here so when we go back across, we are going to be actually doing the big sections again on the bottom right in this area here. It will be that line that maintains the balance and pulls all the shape together.
