Okay. So, option number two is grabbing material here, going into the corner into the corner, pulling it through. What we are going to do is we are going to single stitch these together instead of just slipstitching, okay and then using—so to attach them, we are going to grab both of the pieces here and pull it through and basically the loose end now is trapped in the position.
So, what we are going to do now is we are going to single stitch this. And this is going to cause a ridge to form so what we are going to do is go into the next stitch on this side and on this side pulling it through, okay. Excuse me, what we want to do first before we go into the next stitch, we would want to wrap our material around once so wrap it, okay going into this side of the stitch, okay going into this side of the stitch like so and then we are only going to pull it through the actual where we are fusing them together, okay and then pull it through. And what this is going to do is it’s going to cause a ridge so wrap it again, going into the very next stitch that you can find on one side and then on the other pulling it through just those stitches, okay and then pull it through.
The other one option the way I did, it was a lot more cleaner looking but this is an option if you want to try it, if you want to cause it to have a ridge. So basically, we are going to pull through so leaving two and then pull it through. So wrapping, going into the next stitch, now this is where the hole exist so can go in this hole and then that hole, just pull through those two. Okay and then just go with the next stitch, this side, the next stitch on this side pulling it through two just that, okay, and then pull through.
So basically, you end up with a ridge that is going to be up sticking down and that might not be acceptable to you but on this side, it will remain flat like it did on the other side but on this side, it will have a ridge and you can actually, if you want to keep this pink and then make this color like blue or pink or whatever, just for the ridge that actually is quite outstanding as well so the choice is yours and those are your options. So, that is how you do a granny square blanket.
