How to Crochet a Diamond Cable Stitch Part 9/9

So this will be the last demonstration of this particular pattern and so you see that the picot you’d see the next one, so the picot must be right above there so that’s single crochet, the first one. So the next one then is a picot. And how do I know that? because there will be, this is the top of the diamond because it’s right above the picot just like it is there, so this here is the picot.

So one, two, three, and then single crochet the next one, okay so now you’re on the stitch right above the picot, so that obviously it must be coming down and one’s it come down so wrap and wrap and you just going to see where that one is coming out, right there just go underneath of it. Pulling it through and hold it what the two on board and then do the other side so one and two. Looking for where the next one two are, you see that.

Pull through two, two and now you going to have three left on board now you pull through all three. Again just like before you skip a stitch or right above the picot and single crochet into the next one, so this one here is your picot again. And a single crochet and now we’re into this stitch directly above the picot which obviously is the top of the x or the top of the diamond, so wrap and wrap going back underneath the two, that formed the diamond and then hold it with two and then wrap and wrap and going into the other next diamond coming up right and behind of it pulling it through two and now you go three of there, pulling it through and now it’s single crochet just like we normally did and now this will be the picot because it’s right in the center point again. So one two and three.

And now a single crochet and now we’re back of the top of the diamond again so wrap and wrap going back underneath and then hold it and I wrap and wrap going and looking for the next diamond coming up two, two, now you got three and so going to pull through all three, skipping the stitch over the picot and single stitching.

The next one is obviously is the picot again so one, two and three and pulling it through and through and then single stitch and again you’re at the top of the next one coming so one and two going back and obviously on the edge so you can’t do the one going forward to it’s going to finish this off as normal two and two and then single stitch at the very end.

So there you go, so there is your diamonds with the picot in the middle and it gives it a bit of variation and enjoy.
