How to Crochet a 6 Inch Hole Christmas Tree Skirt Part ¾
Okay moving right along, we’re going to stick our needle. We’re just going to pull it up and stick our needle into the last stitch where we started just like so and putting the material properly back into your hand and this is called the slip stitch and what we’re going to do is pull that material so we’re going to grab it, pull it to the first one and through the second one and that will joined your square and I didn’t have a tie piece material here because this is where we starting it and it makes it very obvious and that’s the corner because that’s what we’re touching it.
So to start off, we need to chain up three. I’m showing you a double crochet method. So this chaining up three so 1 2 3 and everything is in sets of three. You can see how its lock out those is sets of three. So grab your material and look for the base where that is chaining and just go into that same hole, so then two and two. So the review, double crochet grab the material and that’s going to that same hole again. Grabbing the material playing it through two and two, the slower videos available on my website if you need to get what that is, so everything is going to be in groups of three and every time you finished a group of three like that chain one.
So now squirt our way across and the secret to this one is that we have to put four groups of three before we get to the next corner piece that we have marked. So I call this the ring. See how it’s going to be a ring shape. I call it the ring and when I say go into the center of the ring, what I mean is just go right into the center of the ring so you’re not going to go any stitches. You’re going to pull it back through underneath and then you’re going to grab the material pull it through it two and two. Okay so let’s try it again.
So grabbing the material just go right underneath the ring and playing it back underneath and then pull it two, two and we want to have everything in sets of three like I showed you before. Okay so pull one, so next one. So that was a chain one after you did a set of three. We do that every time we need three sets and that sets of three. So we’re working on the next one so this 1 2 3, okay so that was your second set and you can tell and by the way when we were going on passing it on here these are movable and that’s just a perfect because they will set a low in be equally space eventually. It just you can't see it at this time. So after you do a set of three chain one and then do another set of three we want four sets of three before we get to the actual corner. Okay so there’s our set of three. Chain one okay so we have the corner which is where we started one set two set three set and let’s do another set. So we want four all together before we get to that corner piece which is marked by the marker there and because this is a square you’re going to have four sets of three on every side for you very beginning. Okay and now let’s chain one.
So we got our four sets in there. You can clearly see that there. So the next thing we need to do is wrap the material and go right into the stitch where you have it marked and the corners were actually putting into stitch in the line so then is stabilizes and we’re going to be putting in three in today very same hole in that stitch and this is what’s going to half create the corner. And now to turn the corner because we’ve considered this is the corner we chain two, one and two. Okay grabbing your material and going to the same hole that you see into the corner. Basically, you’re creating like a pin wheel because you’re using the same center point and because you chain two it causes it to turn so you just successfully did your first corner. You can really see that so then let’s chain one after because that’s the set of three and now we’re going to do four sets of three again working our way to the next corner which is labeled with our thing. You could’ve counted along if you want it too and put this into the stitches but I say work other this create still the same look and it’s a lot easier for your eyes.
So four sets of three and every time you do a set of three you’re going to chain one. And then you can see I’m not really paying attention to unlike worth appearing and so one. So let’s do another set, I’m on my third set of three all ready. Okay chain one and now it’s another set Even if you have it like they’re crunching together because I’m telling you to go underneath the ring they are slidable so everything is adjustable if you have to be. Okay so the next one. We’ve done our four sets. Okay so if you want to review 1 2 3 and 4 okay so let’s do our corner. So wrapping your material and going in to where it’s marked with purple, here’s it could be a different color and we’re going to put three double crochet into the same hole and eventually these are strings that we have are using as markers they will come out but we want to live them right now so that we can establish our corners and clearly understand where they are one and two because we’re turning our corner and going into the same hole. Okay and that’s the set of three so let’s chain one again and now were going to put our four sets of three along this line and every time we get a set of three then chain one.
This is my fourth tutorial doing the same thing but jus bigger sizes so—okay so we have three in there all ready and you can tell because you kind of get an extra space in there so let’s go where the fourth set in the same line. What is really critical here is that once we get all of the way around we’re going to be making sure this thing is not twisted. Okay so the next one then is into the corner itself. So wrap in your material going into the corner stitch and we’re going to put three in that one like we did with the others. Okay and took turn the corners let’s chain two and then into the same hole to the left turn. Okay and now we’re working our way across, again let’s chain one and we’re working four sets of three and we’re coming to the starting point to where we started. And when we get to the end of this line I’m noticing the time of this video, I’m going to probably cut this video off by the time we get to the end of the line and then its so important that you watch the start of the next one because I’m going to show you this is where you have to do the trick in order to do the never ending square.
Okay so 1 2 3 another set. Okay so we have our fourth sets right here and you see all it comes slide them and what I’m going to do is I’m going to ask you to stop here and we’re going to go on our next video because they like to this one.
