How to Crochet a 3D Ripple Stitch Part 6/7
Okay so we’ve worked along and we are on this side where you can actually see the ripple and where you’re working your way across and we are going to be changing our colors a the end of this line but I have to show you the completion of this line in order to do so. So we have just done our every other one and then we are coming down. And now, we are coming near to the end then see it’s grabbing that post but not this one. So this shows you that it’s just the one that’s right above it, is the last one on this particular line.
So we are just going to double crochet pull through two. Okay, I'm leaving two on the hook holding it, grabbing your next color so I have your next color ready to just looping it. So it is looping in and pulling through. And then what we are going to do is we are going to cut the red. And so now we have two strugglers, the red and the purple and then we are going to turn our material. So this is the line that we now do all the single crocheting back all the way.
And so we are going to just chain up one and we are just going to stick our stitches into every single one along the way. So we are going to put our strugglers on top of the line just like what we always do. And what we are going to do is we are going to single crochet this into position and so I’m going into the next one which is right there. Okay the next stitch.
Making sure these are the lines on the top, see how that purple when it comes around that locks it in the position. So this way we don’t ever see knots. Grab those and make sure they are on top and we re going to single crochet. So this is where we change our colors. It’s in the single crochet line. So we are just going to single crochet all the way back. Now that I have those all trapped in position and when I go to do the end of the project, I am just going to trim of it and then you can actually see. Okay so let’s single crochet all the way back across. And so we have just changed color and then what show you what it looks like in front.
I really like the ripple stitch that just looks so sharp. And remember, don’t forget to get out last one that appears to be hanging out and making sure you don’t go in the gap. You actually grab it by the normal stitch because then it—well it would look really weird. So there’s what it looks like and let’s turns it over and that’s where it looks like on this side. So you can see that then obviously the ripple has to be the next when coming down in order to complete that so let’s do that and go to your next video.
