So now, we are ready to create the actual brim area. We have done on our six and you can see it’s really taken a shape. This is going to be the full size of it. And what we’re going to be doing is creating the actual lip. This is the fold that would permanently turn up. So, what we want to do is that we’d want to change the way that we are inserting our needle. So, we’re going to still be doing half-double crochets. So, let’s chain up two, one and two. Okay. So, getting really closely in there, hopefully it stays in focus. You’re going to half-double crochet but you know how we’ve been going in both. What we want you to do, what I want you to do is go into the farthest one that is closest to this finger and go into the one side of it only for half-double crochet.

So next one, see how there is two. You want to go into the farthest, one only just to the one side of it. Do you see that? That’s the farthest one only and you want to do this all the way around for this one only. And you’re going to start noticing something at a second. So, you’re getting a line here. Do you see that? And it’s very defined and what that is, is that it’s allowing the material to bend and this will be the actual point. So, you see how it just wants to bend up on its own. That’s what is happening as a result to going in only on the one side of the stitch. So, what we’re going to do is we’re going to go all the way around and then what we’re going to do is we’re going to do another all the way around of a half-double crochet but doing it regular, how we’ve been doing it all along up until this point. So, this is the only line that you will be going into the stitches on the one side only.
