Hey everybody and welcome again to my Mikeys Smail and I have in front of me a baby’s touk or hat. And today’s demonstration is going to be showing you how to do this. And this project that I would think would be for beginners or semi-beginners as long as you understand. We are going to be using half-double crochet for this entire project. We are also going to be using single stitches. And we are going to be using chaining and those would be it.
And this hat is so cute. I literally had a hard time making this hat because look at the material, you can see my stitches. This stuff is like brutal to work with but it is very simple and I’m telling it was like driving me nuts on being able to find the stitches because when you get wool like this, you have to rely on the tips of your fingers to feel where stitches are. But for me I’ve been doing it for like 25 years, I mean maybe a little longer and I can feel where the actual stitches are. So, it’s not a big deal but this material doesn’t like to slide very nice.
But anyway, this is my cute little baby girls hat and it actually had a roll up rim that you can see. And actually I think it’s cute. So, what I’m going to do with this hat is I’m going to take it to the hospital later and donate it to somebody that’s having a newborn. And you know what, I have no idea if the size of it is proper but I’m looking it in comparison of the size of my head. It’s got to be close. And if it’s not, it’s obviously I can’t wear it but I don’t have a kid to measure those on. So, this is a baby’s hat demonstration.
