Hey there and welcome to another Photoshop tutorial by Robert’s Productions. Today we are going to fix up somebody’s yellow teeth. So if you have a picture of someone either yourself or a family member, anyone that has yellow teeth. First of all you need to go to purchase them a toothbrush. Maybe some mouthwash and second of all you can Photoshop their picture. First thing I’m going to do is I’m going to open up the photo. Oh my God, that is the wrong picture. I didn’t mean to open the picture of my grandma. Is that my grandma for real? No but could be close, you don’t know.

Now you can see this picture of this girl, her teeth are pretty white. They are pretty nice looking that’s why we are not going to be Photoshopping her teeth. But whose teeth are we going to be Photoshoppign? His, yeah look at that. Look at that, yes they are real. He needs a toothbrush first of all and it’s kind of funny how I found this photo on Flickr, so its pretty nice and his eyes are nice and crunched up, is he a Filipino, Chinese, Asian, anywhere in there. It’s pretty awesome okay.

Now let’s get started, what we’re going to do is we’re going to make his teeth whiter. I’m going to zoom in. I’m sorry that the quality is not as great as when I zoom in but we can do our best, okay. First thing I’m going to do is I’m going to select the magic wand tool right here and the short cut key is W, okay. Then you go and select all of the person’s teeth while holding down the Shift key.

So I’m going to start from over here. Start selecting, selecting, selecting, boom, boom, boom, boom! Okay now don’t worry if we got like these little areas right here where there is some in the gums, don’t worry that because we’re going to do a different method right now. If you hold Alt, you can delete those areas that it’s showing, it’s selecting the gum but I don’t really want it. I think it’s a pretty good selection this time. Surprisingly, okay now that I’ve got the selection we can un-zoom and we’re going to go to image, adjustments, hue and saturation. That’s Control-U on a PC and Command-U on a Mac. The Hue and Saturation is going to fix up our teeth a lot but what we’re going to do is we’re going to bring down the Saturation to make the color a little bit darker and watch this, this is a trick right here, saturation does everything pretty much. Bring this down and boom and we have no more yellow. Look at that. We could bring the lightness up a little bit to make it look a little bit brighter, like use really good Crest toothpaste but he really didn’t.

Now that you have done that, just click OK, boom, Control or Command-D deselects everything and there is our white—way much whiter teeth. They’re almost—just as white as her teeth. It’s pretty awesome and as you can see we went from these to these. From these to these, I’ll go closer from this to this. This is what happens if you buy that Crest whitening strips.
