Hi! Everyone Dave here. I’m just going to show you how you can create a simple reflection effect with your text. So just tap out the text wherever you want it to be and it’s simply duplicate that layer, and then you use transform tool to drag it down so the text is actually up side down and a bit taller than the original text. Apply that then rasterize that layer. And then go to edit, transform, perspective. And on the bottom right corner with he transform tools, just drag it to the right. Apply that then match it up with the original text. And I’m going to use the feather tool.
So I select rectangular marquee tool. And up here which is feather, just type a number. So maybe we get 20pixels and then simply select the rectangular area and just touching the bottom of the reflected text. And then simply push the delete button in your keyboard. As you can see, that’s giving us a pretty nice reflection effect. You can also change the opacity of this layer and that sometimes help with how realistic it looks.
