How to copy and paste text on your iPhone?
Michael Callahan: Hi this is Mike Callahan, Dr. File Finder and welcome to your butterscotch.com tutorial on how to copy and paste text on your iPhone. When the iPhone first came out that was one of the biggest complaints was that you couldn't copy and paste text, now you can we're going to show you how. So I have some text up here and a program called Fliq Notes on my iPhone.
So I was select tutorial ideas can hold. You can hold my finger down. I see the bar comes up, says select all or paste. I'm going to say select and it selects that word and you see there is a little blue dot at each end. I can hold my finger down on the lower blue dot and you see the magnifying glass above it magnifies the text so you can see what's there and then like go. Now I could just say copy and if have copied it to a new place. Hold by finger down let go select past and there is tutorial ideas again.
Another thing I want to point is that your hold you finger down and let go would you say select all, it wont just select all of that line it will select all of the text on that page. So don't misunderstand what select all mean it doesn't mean select everything on that line it means select everything. So to remove the highlighting just tap anywhere on the screen. So once again hold you finger down let go you can say select then you can move it around to select exactly what you want say copy or cut which removes it and move down get paste and there you go. So that's copy and pasting text on your iPhone and that's all there is to it.
