The next station is also a soft toss station except on this station, we are using something called a power stick.
The purpose of this station is for the player to find a sweet far of the bat.
Again, we are using all of the fundamentals that we have learned from the Tee Station to the Soft Toss, again, to the Palastic.
The player is using his trigger position. The player is keeping the weight back and the player is turning and pivoting towards the pitcher.
His object in this station is to try to hit the center of the ball with the Palastic.
As you can see from the Palastic, the bats are a lot skinnier than the real bat so the purpose here is when the player does use the regular bat, the ball will seem bigger to them so it is an excellent drill.
And again, this is used from youth baseball to Major Leagues.
They are always remembering the fundamentals as were progressing from the Tee Station to the Soft Toss to the Palastic.
