Welcome to Tekzilla Daily I'm Veronica Belmont. In a previous episode we showed you a unique command prompt tool to copy the results of the command prompt actions of the clipboard. Now I'm going to show you had to use that same tool to create desktop shortcut to clear the clipboard.
Start by right clicking your desktop select new then shortcut. In the dialogue box that appears type this string and click okay and then just give it a name like clear clipboard and hit okay. You'll see it command prompt icon on your desktop into further customize it right click and select properties.
Under the shortcut tab, you can click change icon to something more appropriate and in the field labeled shortcut key, you can choose a key combo to activate it. So you have to find that icon every time. So the next time you’re feeling paranoid about who's going to hit pace after you’ve left the desk or you just want to ensure that you leave no clues behind, use this little hack to cleared the clipboard.
