Welcome to our tips segment this week here at GrowingWisdom.com. I was thinking about what to tell you guys about this week and it occurred to me; let us talk a little bit about Mulch. You do not want to build your Mulch up to deep over the course of the years. It really does not break down that fast so every year, if you continue to add on one or two or three inches of Mulch, you start and end up with this huge Mulch piles in your garden. Always tell people take a break for your two on your Mulch, not a bad idea, go out there, and turn the Mulch over. You would be surprise to have good that looks just by taking the existing Mulch and turning it over the other problem is do not let your Mulch go up too higher in the trunks of your trees.
If you see what is look like a stick coming out of the Mulch and it looks almost like a volcano around your trees, it is just too high and it is very damaging to the trees so that is my other tip, bring the Mulch down so you see the flare of the tree. And also when you choosing Mulch, actually look for color, that goes well with your house, you do not want to out red Mulch with the red house. You do not want to put also brown Mulch with the brown house because it would not stand out; you want your garden to really look beautiful by standing out and complementing the color of your house. Come back every week for our tips segment, we update them here at growingwisdom.com.
