Audra Lowe: And you know when it comes to hair treatments, we turn to our favorite celebrity hair stylist, Gregg Giannillo for some tips on how to get your bangs better dressed take a look.
Gregg Giannillo: So now, what do you do with your bangs? Everybody has a problem with the way to blow dry their bangs and I’m going to show you what not to do first.
If you have a bang that is heavy like her, like Ashley and you take a bang and basically blow it out like this. You would think that’s the right thing to do. The problem is that you end up with an awning. You don’t want this to happen.
You don’t want it to look like you’ve just got out from Lavern and Shirley and pull that thing off her forehead. You want the bangs to lay more in tuned with the rest of the hair. Now, granted she has a headband on and it’s all pulled back. But normally, you want the bangs to fall in the same plane as your hair. So, how do you do that?
Well, you take a flatter brush or you take a round brush that has a much larger radius not as small as this one. This is actually the best bet. You want the bangs reach the match. That way, when the hair is all down, it looks like it flows.
This could be the determining factor as in your case. Whether or not, you need a bang trim. And in your case, you need a bang trim. But they’re lying perfectly and that’s your tip of the day.
