I am Carol Olmstead, and I am showing you how to use Feng Shui to attract wealth. Now I am in the dining room. Next tip concerns plants. Remove the dead ones.
Feng Shui talks about plants as energy, it's living energy that grows your wealth. When we have a dead plant, your wealth is stagnant. Sometimes you can clean them up and get rid of the dead leaves. But many times, you just have to get rid of the old plant. Let's move that out and replace it with a new one. Doesn't that feel much better?
I always prefer that you use living plants with nice, soft, rounded leaves. But if you have a space where you just don't have enough light or perhaps if you just don't have a green thumb, then silk plants are fine. Good quality silk is a fabric and it brings the same flow of abundance into your life. I just recommend against using dried flowers because they are dead energy.
Now that we've cleaned up the plant in this dining room, there's one more thing we need to do and I know you have seen it, we need to clear up this pile of clutter. In Feng Shui, clutter represents postponed decisions and the inability to move forward. Think about that for a while, where you have clutter and what you are keeping, says a lot about you and how you can accumulate wealth.
How do we get rid of clutter? This one's real easy, we just move it out.
In Feng Shui, we say that nothing new flows into your life till you make room for it. No new wealth can flow into your life till we make room for it. Now that we have cleared the clutter from this room, look at all the space we have for wealth to flow into this house.
