Leigh Kubin: Lou, we are at your upstairs bar at Lambert Downtown Austin and I know you recently open. So, tell me a little bit about what your goals are for working with me today.
Lou Lambert: I am really excited that you are here. We have been very busy as a restaurant and lounge. We have got two floors upstairs a live music and bar, downstairs is dinning room and kitchen. And I just felt since we have been open that this room is not complete. It just it done have the warm and lounging feel that we were going after. So, I just think we are missing a few elements so I look forward to your input.
Leigh Kubin: Well, it is interesting from a Feng Shui perspective you did a great job of representing all of the elements. You just let out the fire. So, I think that if we can incorporate the fire into the décor I think it will balance it out perfectly.
Lou Lambert: Great!
Leigh Kubin: And I think we can do that with paint. Are you interested in window treatment of extra work?
Lou Lambert: Yes, I have always love the openness of the windows but it times is almost too much coming in, too much happening so you lose site of what is happening in the room as well as I think it would be a great way to introduce some kind of color and texture.
Leigh Kubin: Right, it will also bring it down a little bit to help people relaxing here.
Lou Lambert: Yes, I agree. The things that we are looking at doing that things is a restaurant guide and food guide that I am seeing we are lacking now are treatments on the windows. Seeding we are going to look and see if seeding is correct and then just what we can do color wise pictures, what can us aesthetically to make the room feel warmer.
Leigh Kubin: Are you interested and maybe replacing some of the art works in here?
Lou Lambert: Yes, I like the subject matter of what have right now but I have always saw that the color is just do not work with the room both from the colors that are currently in the room and just the colors do not give me vibrant or any activity.
Lou Lambert: Well, they do not tell your story and I do not feel who you are. You have done a great job with your stage area that is the journey area of this room and you pick the black for the curtain to about the sound energy with the piano. So, you really did a perfect job with that. With the bar area it is white which is metal and that falls in your fame and reputation area, and I know that you want people to know about Lamberts so I think a great choice for this area would be to be paint it red. Are you open to that?
Leigh Kubin: Totally, again I felt like this room was kind of lacking a little bit of energy and that sounds like it would bring some in.
Leigh Kubin: Yes, I think that will be a perfect choice for that space. One issue I see in your space is that you have a stair case going down right in your wealth area. So, we really need something to lift that energy. We could use plants but I know that you get very busy and very crowded so we can also use artwork.
Lou Lambert: All right, great.
Leigh Kubin: So, think about upward moving energy, you think about vertical pieces of art maybe thin, tall.
Lou Lambert: Are there any colors we should about to stay away from or?
Leigh Kubin: Red it something you want to stay away from. You want to include black is great color for that area, purple anything that is jewel tones. So, think about royalty, think about wealth.
Lou Lambert: Okay.
Leigh Kubin: And think about that area accumulating wealth for you.
Well, Lamberts upstairs bar we are going to paint the wall behind the bar red to activate the fame area. Add a bulletin board in the wealth area to advertise
