Leigh Kubin: Welcome to Feng Shui Your Way. I am your host Leigh Kubin and today we are going to we will working in home that is for sale. So, let us get inside and see some easy inexpensive ways to get this home sold.

Leigh Kubin: Kane, your house is recently on the market and you have not a lot of activity. What are your goals in working in it today?

Kane: Yes, what I would like to do Leigh is get my the top dollar asking price for the house and also sell the house as best as possible and able to let me move to my other house to try to synchronize the closing date and everything with the building of my house.

Leigh Kubin: Okay, so you do not have to go into an apartment or something.

Kane: Exactly, yes.

Leigh Kubin: Okay, we are actually going to work in the wealth area of your space, and the reason is, is because it is the main room of the front door and we want to pull in the people that are coming to look and show them how much space that they are actually have in here, and the way it set up right now you cannot see that. So, I think that if rearrange it and maybe we will move some of the furniture it will really show the space for what it is.

Kane: All right, that sounds a great plan.

Leigh Kubin: The first thing that we are going to look at today is the entrance in this room, and you got it blocked with the sofa and the sofa table. So really we want to open that up to encourage people to come in here and sit down and imagine themselves living in this space. And I think if we can clear up some of this furniture it would be easier for them to see that.

Kane: Anything that will help sell the house faster would be great.

Leigh Kubin: I am in love with this chair.

Kane: I have this chair since college. It is great for me watching a football games and things but my wife really does not love it just going to help move things faster here than we definitely move it out.

Leigh Kubin: Well, it think if we got rid of that and the small sofa we could open the room up and really make it a few bigger than it is.

Kane: All right, that sounds like good idea.

Leigh Kubin: And the elliptical in the kitchen, is there anyway we can move that?

Kane: Yes, definitely we have room in the back an empty room that we can move it too so yes that would be fine too.

Leigh Kubin: Yes, let us clear that out and open up your kitchen and the kitchen nook and show that a table can go in nicely. Well, there are some fun things that we can do on the outside of the house as well.

Kane: Okay.

Leigh Kubin: And the first thing I would like is to get the chi moving in here.

Kane: Okay. Leigh what exactly is chi in and how can that help me sell my house?

Leigh Kubin: Well, chi is energy. So you think about the energy that you draw into your house that goes through your home. Well, people follow that.

Kane: Okay.

Leigh Kubin: So, if they feel the chi they feel the energy, it feels right when they walk in the space.

Kane: Okay.

Leigh Kubin: It is not something that you can see it just something that you feel. So, we want to activate the front of the house to get the chi flowing so the people will come in too.

Kane: I guess that is like a good idea.

Leigh Kubin: So, we will get that going, we will work in your wealth area outside. We can put flowers, like if you have a bed out there you can plant purple and gold flowers. If you do not have a bed out there we can do something as simple as a ribbon, purple or gold ribbon. And the relationship area we want to activate that area and we can do that by flowers too, anything with pink in it.

Kane: Okay.

Leigh Kubin: So, it does not have to be flowers but let us get creative and find something to put in that space. And my favorite thing to do is to put bunnies in the helpful people in travel area, and bunnies reproduce very quickly, so we think about our helpful people just growing and growing.
