Leigh Kubin: Welcome to Feng Shui Your Way. I am your host Leigh Kubin and today we are going to Feng Shuing an operatory on a dental office. So, let us go see what we can help.
FENG SHUI Wealth Relations Health Wisdom Travel
Leigh Kubin: Well Yvonne, this is your operatory in the dental office?
Leigh Kubin: What are your goals for Feng Shuing this space?
Yvonne: Well. I am hoping to achieve a more relaxing atmosphere for our patients when they come to see us because usually dental visits are not a calm experience for some people.
Leigh Kubin: The first place we are going to start today is in the journey area. Since this is a business it is a little different. It is still about your path that you are a healthcare provider. So, we want to take into account that you want to educate, you want to give them care but you also want them relaxed.
Leigh Kubin: So, let us find something to put in this space that represents water that will activate the journey area of this room.
Leigh Kubin: Well, next we want to move in to the family and ancestry area and in a home that would mean your family of origin but here in a dental office we want to think about where your gained your knowledge from, what you have to share so we can maybe put your degrees up, things where you recognize in that spot.
Yvonne: That makes sense.
Leigh Kubin: Okay.
Leigh Kubin: So next, we are going to move into the wealth area, and this area I would like to see maybe some of your awards since we cannot hang them in your fame and reputation area because it is a window. Let us put that there because that is directly related to your wealth, and I would also like to see a plant there that has the upward moving energy representing growth.
Yvonne: That is very interesting.
Leigh Kubin: Opportunities, things coming up for you.
Leigh Kubin: So now, we are going to move in at the fame and reputation area. This would normally be the place that you would put awards things you want to be known for but you have windows so we do not have many options. But, what I am thinking is that maybe we can find a red window treatment to hang.
Yvonne: That sounds great!
Leigh Kubin: We will not block the view but just something to activate the sector. Now, we are going to move into the relationships area, and in a business it is really about all of the people that work together getting along, watching each others back, kind of a unified team effort. So, pictures of the whole practice would be great to put here, pictures of people together representing unity would be good to put here. So, just get creative and find something fun.
Yvonne: Sounds great! I think I have something in mind.
Leigh Kubin: Well now, we are moving into the creativity area of the Bagua. Typically it is about children and creativity but here it is going to be about relaxing, having fun, not taking your self too seriously but being organized in the process. What we want to look for this space is maybe some artwork that represents children or having fun or just being relaxed.
Leigh Kubin: Do you have something in mind?
Yvonne: I do, I think I have something perfect for that.
Leigh Kubin: Perfect! Well now, we are going to move in to the helpful people area of the Bagua and that is really about you having patients that have a great experience here that want to go tell their friends that they need to come here. It is about repeat business and it is about calling your helpful people to help you in your business. So, here we would find a piece of art that represent some multitude of people.
Well Yvonne, my favorite thing about this room is that in a very center of the room you have this chair which is on the base of a circle. So, it is really creates a balance through the room and your patients get to sit here, so they get to feel balance when they are sitting here.
Yvonne: And that is exactly what we are going for.
