Hi, I am Segondi, the beauty at the new TV woman and I am going to show you how to apply dark metallic nail polish. Remove any old nail polish and then sit to work filing your nails. You can not shape your nails quite short for dark nails because I think when they are really long, they can look a little bit Amorticia. The shape for next season is a squirvo shape. A square nail that stay slightly sound to its sides. In terms of filing them, round and going backwards and full of like that. You just want to go in one direction only so it is like that. From the corner underneath the nail and all way round then the other side, just from the corner. It is not a square shape anymore, it kind of rounded.
Once you filed all the nails, here is one I prepared earlier, get one of these buffing books and just give a little buff so that you get rid off all the ridges because ridges will show up in the gloss of the nails so you want to keep it nice and smooth. And then we are applying the base coat. This is actually my favorite and I put up the whole time because it actually a real nail strength. You have to be careful not to get it around your cuticles because it can keep it drying. We do not know how to paint the base coat on. And of course when you are in dark colors, it can stain your nails so it is really important to use of a base coat. When it comes to dark colors, you can end up with a little around your cuticle and all of your fingers.
So I am going to show you just it is like a three strike application method. Basically, you want to do one strike down the center of the nail. Do not go too close the cuticle because that is when it looks like you have done it yourself. You notice in the salons, they always start from just about a millimeter or half millimeter away from the cuticle then you just do one strike down the center, and one on the other side. Always do two coats, this make smooth over the first coat and it just gives that opaque kind of finished. Then you can clean up around the edges if you have made any mistakes. There you go, gorgeous.
