One way that you can quickly adjust the overall look of an image is by using the auto levels. And the auto level is basically going to detect the brightest and the darkest pixels in your image. And it’s going to use that to get rid of any shadows you might have, any darkness you might have that’s not part of the actual image.
So to do this, it’s really quick and simple. Just go up to your image menu, go to adjustments, and then go to auto levels. And you can see that when I had it darkened up my grass, it took out that natural kind of glow that was brought on by the dark sky and I really have some greater contrast. It just overall made my picture look really great.
