How to Add Lyrics to iPhone or iPod
Hey guys. What’s up? David here, iPod touch 2G gig and in this video I'm going to be showing you how I can actually add lyrics to any of your songs in your iPhone or iPod Touch straight from iTunes. Now this does not need any type of jailbreak. It’s fairly easy. It does require a bit of work but if your device does happen to be jail broken you can always go into Cydia and search for the application called TuneWiki and then just download, and install then. What it does is it’s a simple application. All you do is play your songs like you would in the regular music player on your iPod or iPhone and then the lyrics will pop up.
However, the only downside to that is that you do need internet connection. The way I am going to be showing you it today is it requires absolutely no internet connection. So it’s pretty cool. All you got to do is open up your internet browser, go into your search engine and search for the song you want and just type lyrics after that. And then select one of the results and then that’s how they won’t let me copy them for some reason. I have this done this before. Just go ahead and copy the lyrics. You can now exit your internet browser. Go straight into iTunes and now go to the song that you search for the lyrics for. You can right click the song, select get info all the way up here at the top of the context of the menu. Go into the lyrics tab and as you can see I already do have them in here but you, what you just do is right click and select to paste and select okay.
Now what you are going to do is plug your device in. It will show up right over here on the left hand side of iTunes. Go ahead and select it and select sync. Now when your device syncs with your iTunes library all those lyrics would be transfer straight over to your device. So now what we’re going to do is we’re going to go straight on over it to my iPod.
Like I said now we’re at my iPod and what we’re going to do is we’re just going to open up my music library. As you can see, I already have the song selected, just kind of open it and right now the lyrics are not popping up. If they don’t show up all you got to do is tap the album while it work and then they come up along with the alias time you could call it and then all you need to do is play the song and just scroll through the lyrics and that’s really all there and if you don’t want the lyrics all you got to do is tap on them and they go away just like that.
So it’s as simple as that guys. Thanks for watching. This video helps you to like any of my other videos. Please remember to rate, comment, and subscribe. I am already over 800 subscribers in like three months. That is pretty good guys. Thank you to all of my subscribers, a big giveaway. Well, I do not know if that is big whatever you want to call it but giveaway will be coming out, 1000 subscribers. All right, I am going to giving away a music skin, a screen protector maybe a micro-fiber cloth, a little Crabble stand. A review on those will be coming up soon as well as maybe an iPod shuffle, maybe an iPod touch, maybe an iPhone 3G.
Alright guys so make sure to stay tune for that. Tell everybody else you know to subscribe to me if they have an iPhone or iPod Touch and that is pretty much it guys. Thanks for watching, peace.
