Joe Waroquier: Hi! I’m Joe at Sage. And today I’m showing you how to convert a basic
screen into a comfortable evening get away by installing a little bit
different twist of a light feature on the ceiling. So, let’s review our steps
that we took to gets to this point. We have painted the ceiling by propping
it and painting it a chocolate evening color so that light from the lanterns
don’t reflect too brightly onto the ceiling that were light is force
downward. We’ve also installed a greatvine garland to add the elements
too to give our ceiling fixture a little bit more shade. We’ve installed some
twig ivy; we’ve also installed some cascading green ivy. Of course our
lighting fixture which are some hanging couple of lanterns and then to put
a little twist on for taste we put on and added some curl of branches for a
little bit more texture.
So, let’s go over and look at the garland. As you can see here I’ve often
start the garland here as my lighting source is right here behind the sofa.
We trill the garland and made them bit here as we get to the ceiling and
then it explodes both directions to go around the circumference of the
room. To add a little bit more to our room without the fern obviously, as
you can see I’ve put in a nice sofa some and the table for those who set
drinks on the evenings when you’re doing some entertaining of what not.
And I’ve also added to the room a lamp for some ambiance lighting as
well. And to add a little bit of went to our room we’ve been install this
outdoor carpeting. Keep in mind that your outdoor carpeting needs to be
the size, texture and color to complement the rest of your outdoor living
space. Over here you will see that we’ve been installed our dining area,
this particular situation we’ve used a brown table as opposed to a
rectangular of square. Give that the room is so rectangular and square the
round table complements a perfectly and breaks up the situation a little bit
more the normal.
