Alright, hey guys, today, I’m going to be demonstrating in Photoshop, I’m to create a shattered car advertising effect, this is a great way to drastically enhance a car photo and under an hour or so, I’m just going to be doing a small area so you guys can see what kind of effect this will create on the photo. So the first thing you’re going to do is grab a photo of a car at the internet, I’ve chosen a Lamborghini cause that is my favorite color, then you want to go ahead and create a image or layer, duplicate layer and I’ve told us a shattered top and I’m going to rename this one, don’t change, okay? Then you really want to go ahead and make sure we have the polygon lasso tools selected, and then we start selecting areas which is on a shattered top and shattering it by doing just that; we selected the area and then we destroy it, this isn’t really like some; very, very tedious especially if you want, you know, certain effects, I’d keep in mind which direction you want the car to move and shatter that out, his certain way, mic minus shattering outwards like so. Alright so now I’ve done the back red bumper, maybe I can make move indeed this area down here, and then maybe you know, like do it to the head fins and the tail fins but not where the air pocket would be which should be down here to create a realistic effect I guess. Okay, and before I spend too much time on it, I think it’s turned now okay, you’d probably want to put more on the back here but I think for the sake of the tutorial we can start moving on. So I’m going to create, I’m going to duplicate this one, turn the bottom one and add a don’t burn layer, okay and the burn and make sure that the layers are lined up, or else it might not work okay, so good, let’s see here maybe I’ll pass it here a bit; okay, so we’re going to go to the burn layer and maybe just burn a little bit below some of the broken-up parts to add some depth to our project. Alright, and okay I think that adds enough, okay and also, let’s add another layer, so we’ll duplicate the “don’t change” again and I’m going to merge these layers just cause I like what’s going on and I’m going to create another “don’t change” I’m going to title it “gasp layer” and what I’m going to do is I’m going to select the closer areas and what that does is it’s going to create the depth of field type of thing going on, essentially it’s just going to make the top look closer. Okay, so let’s have that selected and I’m going to go to filter blur, cause him blur and maybe like point 5 maybe and if you want to add more just do it again through a settle depth of field and you start to get a pretty good looking car ad, again if I were you, maybe I’d have him stick out a little bit more down here and then the back but for the sake of the tutorials it’s kind of running it, hit that subscribe button if you like the tutorials because I found that many people like this events car ad tutorials and I can make some more. Go ahead and favor it too, that way I know that you guys like it and I can go ahead and make them on a feature. Anyway, subscribe, much love, Clayton Jenkins, peace out.
