Now we come on to the dryers. This hair is a super duper saloon dryer with various heats. If you have just your one single pet then a hand held dryer with a cool heat would be absolutely fine and it would be easy if somebody held the dryer for you, so you can control the dog and brush at the same time.
I’m now going to use this one and it is very noisy so off we go. You want to brush the coat towards the nose, to lift the coat and create that round look. Hold in the head securely.
And now that’s the head. I’m going to blow dry the tail now because it’s a shorter coat on the tail and I do like for the coat really straight to get a good finish. We can put a little bit more texturizer on there. A typical fault is his tail is too short. So what we want to do is to make it look more in proportion to him. So I need this coat very well dried.
Make sure the dog is dry by running your hand on the back of the coat so that it’s not damp, and that is all ready.
