Female: If you’re looking to improve the luster in your locks, look no further than your very own fridge. Celebrity hair stylist Gregg Giannillo shows us how mayo can work wonders in today’s Better Tressed. Gregg: Hey everybody I’m back with kitchen cosmetology, my set of tips that you can do from home like going in your cup board, refrigerator, kitchen cabinet, whatever the case maybe. Today you’re going to go into your refrigerator and take out mayonnaise. It’s a great, great conditioner, believe it or not. It is very heavy so you need to put it on before you shampoo as supposed to a traditional conditioner where you put it on after. Just take it, massage it to your hair mostly rub into the roots and into the scalp, wrap it with a warm towel, leave it on for as long as you can up to half an hour. Then rinse and shampoo after wards and you’ll be left with really silky manageable hair. The reason it works so well is that mayonnaise basically is oil and egg, and that is moisture and protein, everything your hair needs. Right here in one bottle and you can probably get that right in your refrigerator. That’s your tip of the day. Female: Do you have a hair question for Gregg, email him at askgregg@bettertv.com.
