I am Andrew Orloff, I am the visual effects supervisor from the select studios and today we are shooting this tank getting hit by this non existing train that is here. We are going to come around, reveal the train and we are going to extend the track all the way back this way. And in another shoot, we are going to shoot a miniature 1/8 scale trains all about this tall.
So here, we are at the miniature shoot, we are here at the L.A. Live Steamers with their steam locomotive miniature and this is all articulated so they run hydraulics in here and they make the wheels turn. So got on this left and we can turn and get all different angles to match up with the train tracks we shot. All right, I want to see what is on the camera motion. I want different angles get down the train this way towards us and after that, we are going over with this track over here, put the train on the track and then shoot it coming right towards us so we can get all the elements we need for the crash.
We are going to do some CG work and place this with a CG tank, I am tumbling towards the camera in and obliterate the frame. Right now, we are just trying to get all the plates together so that we can use these markers to recreate the camera and the computers that we can put the computer-generated elements into the scene and make it all look perfect.
