Interviewer: Holiday seasons almost here and that means its time to pick out your perfect party dress but what style of dress will work best for you take a look.
The perfect party dress can make you feel like a million bucks but not all dresses are created equal. We met up with fashion designer Kay Unger to learn how to shop for dress by your body tip. First up cases, pair shape women like ugly Bettie’s America Ferreira should look for dress the full skirt to camouflage their hips.
Kay Unger: Full skirt is better if it has folds and instead of measuring. Measuring tends to bubble a little. We like to folds because their flatter and then as i move up, what's really great about this dress, is it exenterate. She has a really nice small waist and this is a tinny bit above the waist which is actually really comfortable.
Interviewer: Top it up with V-neck line to make a pair shape women look long and lean.
Kay Unger: I think the girly-ness of the neckline and it really helps focus but sometimes resize above the table because if you’re going at to dinner or party or something and your sitting, you went a lot of stuff above the table.
Interviewer: Next up, celebrity like Paris Hilton and Dakota Fanning love Kay’s petite phoebe couture dresses. For them it’s all about the waist line.
Kay Unger: By being slightly ampere here it really makes her look much longer. The long bow helps a lot.
Interviewer: And so this is a sweetheart neckline, which adds the link to the torso. Next curvy girls like Tyra Banks love Kay’s dresses to help flat their fuller figures.
Kay Unger: Balance is what so important with the curvy shape because she’s kind to be even on top and bottom. She does have a tiny waist. We always like to raise the waist a little bit, you’re always more comfortable. It’s better if the dress wraps a little so it gives you more coverage.
Interviewer: And their shoulders drop a lot for more support form the regular brand.
Kay Unger: And this also, again a long gate sur. Marry jay, I was not super tall but she appears tall, again with this kind of silhouette.
Interviewer: Up and pants sparkly accessories and shoes and our curvy girl is good to go. Lastly, stick name girls like Taylor Swift love how Kay’s dresses of for them any shape.
Kay Unger: Believe to or not, Melissa is what we consider our of kind of boyish figure. She even calls her self as stick up salary.
Interviewer: For these girls the right party dresses can give them the illusion of curve they don’t have.
Kay Unger: Look at this great shape. Okay, so the all the curviness every part of this dress is curved so she has the curved wrap folded neckline. Now this skirt, which is o cute it moves it, give her hips that she doesn’t really have.
Interviewer: A shapely jacket can also add definition.
Kay Unger: Put a feebly couture jacket on her and that’s really cute, when it’s short give her like puffiness and give her shape up in the shoulders.
Interviewer: And keep it short to show off the legs.
Kay Unger: Often I stick shape is some one who’s very athletic. So that one part that is shapely are their cask and their legs and they should show them off. I think also a shorter dress and someone who’s straight up and down. Just doesn’t make her look so linear.
Interviewer: So the next time you’re headed to a party flat the shape you have with the party dress that sure fit your figure. In case that is an important that no matter what figure you’ve got. You should extenuate it. Not to try it hides with baggy clothes. That lonely end up making you look worst.
