Thanks for checking out fixmyrecipe.com, Chef Billy Parisi here. Our new Fix comes from Jennifer from Pennsylvania. She submitted a recipe through YouTube. Now, anywhere you can find Fix My Recipe on the web, be sure to submit through that. Don't worry, I will get it.
Her recipe fix is for Fried Chicken. She said her breading keeps falling off, and in addition she keeps burning it. Don't worry Jennifer, we got you covered right here.
Jennifer, obviously the most important ingredient in our fried chicken is the breading. One, you want it to be seasoned so the taste is there, and two, you definitely don't want it to fall off.
Jennifer, all of our ingredients are together, let's bread up this chicken, and get it ready to fry.
Jennifer, this is called a standard breading procedure.
Jennifer, this breading procedure will ensure pretty much that your breading won't fall off, plus, it's going to be so tasty, you are absolutely going to love it.
Jennifer, when frying our chicken, we want the temperature to be about 350 degrees. This is roughly medium high on your burner.
Jennifer, it takes probably eight to ten minutes to really brown our chicken. Now, it might take longer, it might take less, but be sure to don't change that heat, that is vital.
Jennifer, to ensure that this doesn't burn, we are going to finish it in the oven on 350 degrees. Oh yeah, look at this.
Jennifer, just like momma's home cooking, this is awesome. Don't forget to use that breading procedure. It's going to assure that it does not fall off, and more importantly, finish in the oven, it won't burn on you.
Jennifer, thank you so much for writing this in, I really appreciate it.
