British actor Michael Caine turns 80 on Thursday, and the Museum of London has honoured the occasion with a special exhibition recognising his achievements in film. Appearing relaxed and healthy, the Hollywood legend looks back at a career spanning over six decades. SOUNDBITE: Actor, Michael Caine, saying (English): "The point is your life springs up and you go 'oh my god', I don't look like that anymore. It's like when they do the lifetime achievement award, you know, they go through all the movies for half an hour, you watch yourself age 60 years. But I only look at the young ones, so it's ok." Caine has been in more than 100 films playing roles from cockney playboy to disenchanted university professor. He has won two Oscars but credits one movie for securing his way to international stardom. SOUNDBITE: Actor, Michael Caine, saying (English): "'Alfie' is obviously the one, because that was the one that did it for me as a star in a movie with my name over the title and also did it in America for me. So that was the most important picture I'd ever made. I obviously have many other favourites but that was the one, because if I hadn't made 'Alfie' I wouldn't have made the rest." There's no sign of rest for this movie powerhouse. The hardworking actor was last seen in the popular Batman movie franchise reprising the role of Alfred the butler and has two films due out later this year.
