Audra: You’re getting in holiday mood, a lot of people out there are. But if you are, don’t leave your wear draw behind, no, no. Better establish shopper, Jenn heads to J. Crew to talk with creative director Jenna Lyons. They’re talking about how to add a little sparkle to your holiday look without spending big box.

Jenn: The holidays are upon us and with them, come a sloe social gathering that call for festive fashions. So I’m here in Jenna Lyons, the creative director of J. Crew for little advice on the must to have pieces just to survive the season in style. So Jenna, what are your picks for the holidays, what are the must have pieces that you think women can have their wear draw dress up, dress down, what have you got?

Jenna: I think probably the most important thing—the thing I go to is jewelry. I think it’s an easy thing to update any outfit. It can make, even a t-shirt, look great. We have a lot of different pieces were coming for this season. We have some really great pieces. They are little chunkier. I like laying them up which I have a lot of them on today. I think it’s great to actually be able to mix them and actually really bulk them up and make yourself look a little bit more sparkly for the season.

Jenn: And speaking of sparkly, these shoes are amazing. So what’s your take on sequence sparkly shoes, taking pretty much make any outfit dressing, right?

Jenna: Definitely. I mean I love the idea of this. It’s not a little bit—it reminds me a little bit of the Wizard of Oz and cooking your heels together and they’re definitely sparkling fun. We do them in a heel and a lot for somebody who really doesn’t want to wear heel. I love them—I think it makes anything from jeans to a great little skirt, look a little bit more playful and fun.

Jenn: I see a reoccurring theme of sequence of sparkle. So with this thing top over there, that’s a type of piece maybe under a blazer, on its own, how do you wear that?

Jenna: Yeah. I think again, I love a little bit of sparkle. It’s something that it’s easy to do and I think it looks great for either a little jeans jacket or actually throw on underneath the blazer. It’s just give you a little bit more pop and a little bit more shine which I think it’s an easy thing to help to think your job to look a little bit more fun.
