Female Speaker: What do I do if I have to eat lunch at a different time everyday?
Wendy Reinhardt Kapsak: So many people have unpredictable work schedules. The meeting address takes place for the moment or you just have a ton of conference calls or appointments. If you don't eat lunch at the same time everyday, there is one thing that is very important, planning. Most of us do have the opportunity to take a quick minute or two at the end of your day, look what's on stack for tomorrow. What does your day look like? Can you give it a little bit of extra thought either the night before or the morning of to consider planning? Maybe you have a little bit bigger breakfast knowing that you are not going to have lunch until maybe 2'o clock then your lunch might take on a little bit more of a snack feel because you are also going to have a dinner meeting as well and you know there might be an opportunity to overeat at your favorite restaurant.
So thinking about planning ahead when you know your day is going to be so variable. Don't forget we also have a couple of items in our desk drawer that we can pull out should we have skipped breakfast altogether and we need to then come up with a quick snack.
