Rhiannon: We’ve all had bad hair days but the key to having great hair is not as complicated as you might think with a little bit of knowledge you can have an amazing locks in no time. Celebrity hairstylist Harry Josh is here to share all of his best kept secrets and get this he’s only shared them before with some of the hottest celebs to walk the red carpet, we are so excited. Harry: Thank you so much. I have then very lucky to get lot of people ready for the red carpet just as the recently I’ve been working with Gwyneth Paltrow, Allen Pampeo, some of the girls from SNL, few comedies coming out this summer so I’m really, really blessed and I love what I do. Rhiannon: So how high maintenance is they or they just do your thing? Harry: I think they let me do my thing, there are a lot of trials involved all the time when someone’s touching your hair. You may feel that experience when you’re at your own hair dresser and I think a lot of the things that people don’t realize is that there’s so many simple tricks out there that can make your life so easy and we’ve been on this kind of crazy tour of going around the country helping them and do exactly that. Rhiannon: In all that tour you actually styled Kristen Cavalry, Katrina Portage. Harry: I did, I did. That was amazing and that was a great opportunity. They’re two great girls who are very kind of hipster and cool and you know the brand that we work with this are very hip and cool as well and we really wanted to you know help girls that they realize that they don’t need to break the bank to have this kind of looks at this stars have. Rhiannon: Well give us the goods, we want to know your secrets right now. Harry: Yeah this are the secrets I’ll tell you with the summer months that are coming up right now, frizz is something really a big, big problem for a lot of people and a lot of people don’t realize you can actually begin to fight that battle in the shower. Rhiannon: Really, how do you that? Harry: Yes right here, this is the smooth start shampoo conditioner from John free to frizz-ease and this actually will start to fight the frizz while the hair is something wet. and the key to actually fighting for it is to deal with it when it’s wet. So really what the key is starting to shower with this with the minute that you come out all but applying product on stopping wet hair. This is the frizz-ease serums, this are the magic serums. This one in particular is one of my favorites, the thermo protection frizzy serum. But the key with this product is absolutely applying it on wet hair. So as its starts to dry the products in there and its activating the curls to kind of keep them in track and of course, frizz free. Rhiannon: Well let’s talk tools. Harry: Tools, alright so I’m going to start to my favorite tools. This tool is the end of the olive life, right here this is the, available everywhere, all the drug stores carry this it’s a hot tools curling iron. This is a one inch iron and the reason why I like this size is no matter, even if I have a big loose wave like Giselle or tight curl like Jessica Parker, this curling iron size will do everything. Rhiannon: How important is a good brush? Harry: Brush is actually really key to creating shine and body. This brush in particular is a natural more bristle brush from Maryland. The grip is really good so you can kind of your hand doesn’t slide around while you’re doing your hair and all this bristle are so close together and so what’s happening is they’re creating a lot of tension with the blow dryer and tension is what creates shine. Rhiannon: So you need a good brush, what about Bumble and Bumble has this spray here, do you like this? Harry: I like the Bumble and Bumble surf spray because it really, there’s no product in that exist out there that gives you that rough, wild, red head rock star texture. It really, really cradle like it has actually sea salt from the ocean in the product so its almost like its scooping a little bottle of you know sea salts from the ocean taking it up and kind of misting into your hair. Rhiannon: Thank you so much these are all great products and I love that they’re not too expensive. Harry: Everything is, yeah everything is available every where. Rhiannon: Great and as he mention if you want your own private consultation with Harry, via Skype, go to bettertv.com and click on the link.
