Billy Parisi: Hi, thanks for checking out FixMyRecipe.com, I am chef Billy Parisi, and our new fix goes to Harmony, she forgot to tell us where she is from just like everyone else it seems. Don’t worry about it she submitted a recipe towards for Tuna salad. Don’t worry I have an amazing recipe that you are absolutely going to love.
Harmony I use a lot more ingredients for Tuna salad than a lot of other people. So the first thing we need to do is make hard boiled eggs, so in a pot place your eggs with cold water as soon as they comes to a boil cover it turn off the heat let it sit for 10 minutes then add it to some ice water to cool them off. While our eggs are cooling, go ahead and season up our tuna steak very well with salt and pepper and we are going to grill it towards medium well, which means a very little pink in the center. Well our tuna is cooking this is our perfect time to prepare our vegetables.
Harmony make sure your Tuna is completely cooled before you chop it up, once it is cut lets go ahead and simply add all of our ingredients, onions, celery, our hard boiled eggs and sliced pickle we hooked up, diced capers, a little bit of garlic and of course mayonnaise and for little more kick little mustard. Let’s not forget to season with a little bit of seasoning salt, some cracked pepper and a few drops each of Tabasco and Worcestershire.
Couple of pieces of wheat toast. Harmony you are going to be in heaven this is so good use fresh Tuna, be sure to grill it. You love all the flavors in your brand new tuna salad recipe.
