Today’s Episode: Goat Cheese Truffles
We are going to do some fresh goat cheese truffles. We have some fresh goat cheese here and I am going to slice the goat cheese. The goat cheese needs to be fairly cold, it will be easier to cut and then I am going to split it again and I just have to roll it and make a little truffle. And we have our little truffles here. Now, I am going to mix the breadcrumb in a plate. We are going to make it spicy because that will be a great item for cocktail and the spiciness will make everybody drink and be happy.
So we have the black pepper that I just added with the goat cheese, the bread crumb, I am rolling my goat cheese truffles in it and then I am placing them in the tray, three here and three here. I am going to drizzle a little bit of olive oil on each of them, I am using extra virgin olive oil, it is a very quick preparation, it takes about five minutes to prepare and one to two minutes to cook, in the toast to oven, set it to broil, let us see if it is ready. The perfectly round, warm, we do not want to live it too long inside because they will melt and we have some nice toast that you can buy or you can make yourself at home. And we are just going to delicately put our goat cheese on the toasts and the toast also will make it very easy for your guests to grab the goat cheese, it is very simple, very fast. Fresh goat cheese, toaster oven, three minutes, beautiful goat cheese truffles and of course a glass of red wine, cheers.
