ERIC STROMER: Hey, I’m Eric Stromer. Here’s another GMC Trade Secret.
Now, why would you go out and buy a corkboard when you could make one at home utilizing your own creativity? And the good news is you get to drink a couple of bottles of wine. You can get it from the bartender at your local pub. You can get them from friends. You know, it’s a great way to commemorate a nice evening spent with friends and family.
It’s very simple to do. You can get a pre-cut piece of wood at the local store. You can make your own frame from some scrap you may have laying around or buy a pre-existing frame.
And now watch this. Here’s the key – the hot glue gun. Repeat after me – hot glue gun. Everybody’s got to have one of these. This is great for crafting. For our purposes, I’m going to do a cross-hatch pattern; a little hot glue on the back of the cork, just like that – very, very easy. One goes there; one more time on this glue. One goes here, right. Two go in one direction, and then reversing it, two go in the other direction, just like that; one there and one here. And in about 15, 20 minutes, this whole thing is complete. And the ultimate reality in our world is this corkboard.
Now, it’s a great way to put notes on it, grocery lists, or in my case, “Eric, make another corkboard.” You can turn this into a business. This could be the corkboard empire, yeah.
