Create Under-Bed Storage Space

Storage is always an issue in smaller homes or bedrooms. Now, why not consider an alternative space to store things, like under the bed? What I did here is I just went to a garage sale, bought myself an old dresser for 20 bucks. You get a couple of drawers, you put some casters on the bottom of them, and then you can store seasonal items in here or things that you can’t fit in your dressers.

Now, one issue. If you don’t have clearance under your bed frame, they do sell bed lifters. The wheels of the bed frame sit right here. It lifts the bed up about four and a half inches, gives you the ability to have that clearance and store these things right underneath your bed. So all of a sudden you’ve created an enormous amount of storage space. You don’t see it; out of sight, out of mind. It’s an inexpensive, easy solution to any storage problem.
