Measure, measure, measure. Now, when it comes to home décor, this tape measure here is your best friend. So imagine this scenario. You go out shopping and you buy all kinds of furniture that you absolutely love, but you forgot to measure your space first. When you bring the furniture into the room, the scale is entirely too large, and then you’re going back to the store to return it.

Another thing is your doorways. You need to consider your doorways, because sometimes doorways aren’t always standard. So I’d hate to see you buy that gorgeous sofa and then it’s six inches too big to fit through the doorway.

Another thing you may want to consider is your vehicle. For instance, my Acadia here, I can hold full sheets of plywood, but your vehicle may not be able to.
