KELLY EDWARDS: Hi. I’m Kelly Edwards, and here’s another GMC Trade Secret.
I’m actually going to show you how to create some fun and easy centerpieces with things that you might have lying around the house.
Now, the first one I have to show you is actually for winter. Now, you’re having a dinner party and you need to create a centerpiece, and you don’t know what to do. Simply go to your wall, grab your wall mirror, and place it on your table. Then grab a set of goblets and just place them around like so. And then you want to grab your tiny votives and kind of flank the edges.
Now, once you have those in place, you want to grab some tealights over here and just pop these down. Now, once you light these, the light is actually going to pop off the mirror and create a gorgeous ambient glow.
Now, the second one I have in mind is actually for summer, and this one’s kind of fun because you can use the mementos from your vacation, such as your seashells, to decorate with. You just throw them inside of a vase like this, and then you go out to the yard and actually grab some branches. You want to spray-paint them with some fire-engine-red spray paint, and then you just place them inside. And this gives the illusion of fire coral.
I’m Kelly Edwards, and this has been another GMC Trade Secret.
