What could have been a tragic accident turns into a heroic rescue Monday when a seven-year-old girl from Brooklyn, New York, is saved from a fall from a third-story window. Neighbor, Steve St. Bernard, ran to the girl's aid. (SOUNDBITE) (English) STEVE ST. BERNARD, NEIGHBOR WHO CAUGHT THE GIRL, SAYING: "Please let me catch her. Please let me catch her. That's all I could say: Please let me catch the little baby." The MTA bus driver says his actions were instinctive. (SOUNDBITE) (English) STEVE ST. BERNARD, NEIGHBOR WHO CAUGHT THE GIRL, SAYING: "I just picked her up and carried her and hold her and just carried her around. She didn't roll her eyes, she didn't lose consciousness." The girl's family said that she is autistic, according to NBC news. St. Bernard injured his arm in the rescue. The girl was uninjured. Deborah Lutterbeck, Reuters.
