Hi, this is Jane and here at A Floral and surrounded by gorgeous Gerber Daisies. I am just so excited to show you the vibrant, beautiful colors we got here for summer and the sizes and different varieties of these Gerber Daisies.
Check our website, we have everything from Bushes; these are some nice inexpensive floppy bushes. Beautiful for your outside work,
Then we have got these single-stems Gerber Daisies, look at the colors.
Anything you could need, bright pinks, yellows, this peach color and also the traditional white.
Here’s one, a burgundy color. I do not know if you can see the detail or not, it is got several shades of burgundy and pink in there, beautiful floppy center.
You want to pay attention to centers of these if you try to match anything up. Some heavy yellow center, some have a floral center. There is one with the black center here,
I have done some wedding work with this Gerbers. They turn out beautiful and I had to work with several different colors but they had different centers and I use the black marker and just blacked in the center so that they would all be the same.
Lots of fun things you can do with these Gerbers.
These have real pretty color, floppy curly leaves and the centers here are means to where else some kind of need like two-tone.
Real pretty, little shorter stem on this both.
These have a long stems so you want to pay attention to that when you are ordering.
These are my favorites, these giant Gerbers so much you can do with these.
They come in every color you can imagine and if you do not have your color, remember you can also spray the white once with the floral spray.
I start with a little arrangement here with these Gerbers and I am just going to show you a few little tricks that you might want to know.
Be sure you got a heavy-duty pair of cutters. We sell these here at Anderson’s. The stems are real thick on these and it is going to take a good pair of cutters for you to be able to cut these stems.
And then because of the thickness, you want to take a knife and just pare some of the plastic, off of that stem before you put it on your pick machine.
Because of the thickness, the picks are going to enter here as well as if you just pare it down a little bit. And then you can just stick them right in your foam of your container,
There is another one I have caught, already pared down.
We put a nice pick on there,
Just loving these summer colors,
This one is still a little bit too long. I have got to cut him down,
Then, I have taken some nice Ruscus greens that we have here at A Floral,
A little inexpensive green because the Gerbers cannot come with leaves so if you need leaves in your arrangement, you can probably add some leaves on.
I am having a problem with this pick. I am going to pare this down even more. I do not anybody to have this problem.
When you are using the pick machine, you want to be sure your stem is not too thick. It goes pare down nicely so it will go in your foam. Now, we go.
Now, I cut my Ruscus leaves and use a little pick on those,
And stick those in there,
Bend them around, you do have to bend these Gerber stems a little that,
Make them a little kind of nussle by giving them a little twist to the stem,
Add as much green there as you like to,
Floppy that around a little bit,
I think the green reaches kind of makes it look, look a little more alive.
And look at those pretty soft colors that will go nicely under porch or your patty.
Now, there’s more fun thing you can do with these Gerbers, the large Gerbers.
I have got base Gerber that just kind of filled with rocks, and I am going to take one of my large Gerbers. Give it a little twist to the stem, make it look like it is realistic.
Cut a little bit off,
And just step down in the rocks,
And then, I am going to take one of our really cool tropical leaves here,
And just stick that in within.
How cute as that? For side piece, even a center piece?
Really neat idea, quick and easy.
Here is another one, these are Gerber plants.
And these do have the leaves on them and they are very realistic.
A nice frosty, fuzzy leaf on there.
Bent them around a little bit,
Pluck the leaves out,
Stick it in the base, there we go a center piece.
You can even use two of these bushes.
Locked out,
Stick the two of them together for a little bigger arrangement.
Fast, easy and inexpensive.
Check the price of these Gerbers. They would not last long with that price.
Here is one more idea for you,
I took one of our silver bouquet holders and put these beautiful blue Gerbers in there.
I am sure you can see the detail on the video. These Gerbers have 3 or more different shades of blue; there is a bit of perry winkle in there, a little purple, dark blue, light blue, big beautiful with a navy dress. A perry winkle dress.
I have set it off with some pearls sprays and if you can see, there are also some silver leaves tuck in there to match up with the silver bouquet holder.
What a fresh, pretty spring idea for summer, for you wedding.
And that is it.
Please check out website, lots of beautiful, beautiful Gerbers out there.
