It’s great to be back at the Paris Motor Show. It has been our great privilege to share with you our vision for the new Focus just 10 months ago and today is a big milestone for us as that dream has become a reality right here just a few months before we start production. In fact, today, we’re starting more than a car; we’re launching a global invitation to the 500,000,000 people using Facebook. The Focus global test drive starts today and we can’t wait for the action to begin. We want 100 people to win an exclusive opportunity to drive the Focus before it reaches the showrooms and we think it’s something that no one has ever tried before on the scale.
Europe has enjoyed Ford ST models and now, we believe it’s the world’s turn. It’s time to present our new global performance Focus powered by four EcoBoost engines. Thanks for being with us and here now is the all new Focus ST.
We just launched the WRC RS, the Fiesta RS which competes next year. We got the Focus ST, more power, more tool, 25% better fuel economy which is phenomenal. The full range of the Focus four-door, five-door wagon and they look spectacular. The feedback has been wonderful. Fresh in Monday of S-Max and Galaxy, I’m running out of things to say because everything you look and touch on this stand is new of fashion.
I’m always optimistic and I think we’re in an interesting period in the industry. I think the industry will slowly recover. But if you’ve got great products, then you put yourself in a much better position and we are in a good position.
