The finish nail gun is great tool to have. It can save you a lot of time if you are planning a large property project such as trimming out room.
Hi, I am Mark Donovan from HomeAdditionPlus.com and today, I am going to talk to you about Pneumatic Finish Nail Guns. Before we get into the basics of Pneumatic Finish Nail Gun, I want to say a Pneumatic Finish Nail Gun is a dangerous tool. Make sure you read all instructions first before using such a tool and always wear safety glasses.
There are two varieties of finish nail guns. We have an Angle Finish Nail Gun, great for putting in crown holding and then a Straight Finish Nail Gun such as what I have here. These are perfect for doing basic trim work around doors and windows, on baseboard trim. The cost of angle or a Straight Finish Nail Gun is somewhere in the neighborhood around $200.00. Typically, a Finish Nail Gun requires somewhere between 60 and 100 PSI for operation. A Finish Nail Gun compressed there and as a result, you need to have a compressor like this to operate your nail gun. Compressors come in variety shapes and sizes. There is a small packing one that are sufficient for doing finish carpentry but for larger projects where you may have multiple finish carpenters trimming out room or some kind of using the compressor for a framing nailer gun, you want to use a larger compressor such as this. This is the five horsepower 15 galloon compressor.
One of the most important things you want to look at when buying a compressor is the SCFM capability of it. You want to make sure the SCFM performance of the compressor will meet the needs of the nail gun that you are trying to purchase or planning to purchase. Another important part you want to consider when buying a Finish Nail Gun is the length of the hose. You want to have hose that is going to be running up to reach the first location where you planned to do trim work relative to where your compressor will be. The cost of the compressor and the hose assembly of this size is again 15 galloon, five horse power so that will cost you around $200.00 or $300.00. That coupled with a Finish Nail Gun around 200. You are looking at a price tag somewhere between $400.00 to $500.00 for your Nail Gun. But it is a well worthy investment if you are planning to do some significant trim work in your home.
A Finish Nail Gun is a great alternative to a hammer. So, check them out next time you are on the home improvement store. Thanks for watching, if you get any other home improvement questions, visit HomeAdditionPlus.com today. Thanks.
