Ted Reader: Quickie Griller Recipe #6 Fig’n Delicious Wings, using with my honey garlic and Fig’n barbecue sauce, pine chicken wings and some Gorgonzola blue cheese. I am telling you this is just easy to do, so we are going to take a 3 pounds of chicken wings.
First open the packet and you can use the flats the drum stick part of it or the entire wing, I mean a drum stick kind of guy, so today I am using just drumsticks. We are going to add my orgasmic onion seasoning to this, the season up all these wings. Pour that in about 4 tablespoons should do, but I just like to get lots of seasoning on there or the marinate, and then mix them up you can toast them using pair of tongs or just rubber glove’s that is nice and easy.
Now you just toast them up get the seasoning all over the place as the onion and garlic in here just awesome get that all over the wings. We are going to take a grill basket if you don’t have a grill basket you could use a grill topper even like a wok topper or you do this on a aluminum foil just easier because you only have to turn all the way wings once with basket, so make your life simple get a grill basket, take your chicken wings form in the basket spread then out nice and evenly I can see them layer so that they all gets mix posture with the grill and they are going to cook nice and evenly, you are going to preheat your grill to medium high, to start and then you are going to turn it down.
These are going to take about 20 to 30 minutes to cook put the lid on, put the clamp in place preheated grill it’s a 375 degrees pop them in and stay with them don’t go away these are lid open and watch what’s going on. You are going to have to make sure that the cut chicken wings we’ll usually a firm fat on them. You are going to get more rendering of that fat you will get flavor up on grill so you want to keep the temperature low you want to keep your eye on what you are doing so that you can cook them nice and easy, beautiful on this side another 5 or 6 minutes these things will be ready.
Alright things have done, ready take this off barbecue holds always up, then you take the wings out into the basket into a bowl here we go, now once you have got that we take some Gorgonzola cheese just cut up just an edge, put that in there. The heat from the wings is going to get these cheese get all gooey and melty all over the place.
Gorgonzola cheese we just need a few green onions here just for some color the onions are for a little bit of sharpness and bite to this. And then Fig’n delicious sauce, a cup with mix it all together you want to get a spoon in there we just get in there with a pair of tongs toast it above, Fig’n delicious wings with my Fig’n delicious honey garlic and this barbecue sauce green onions and gorgonzola cheese grilled hot sticky wooey and gooey with crispy wings nothing gets better than this entire, dig in quickie griller recipes easy for you to do in your back yard.
